Sault Tribe Lands Claim
By now the Elders should of received the below letter from Tribal Board elect Chairman Joe Eitrem.
It appears that Chairman Eitrem would like the Elders to believe that do to the increase in the Elders population, the Lands Claim (Self-Sufficient Fund) payment to the Elders will only be $565.00 for the year.
This amount is a significant decrease from the $1,600.00 checks the Elders were receiving.
Reason: Increase in our Elders population?
Fact: The Chairmen and Board of Directors have been using the Elders Lands Claim money any way they want, even at huge losses to the Elders!
Fact: The Chairmen and Board of Directors owe the Lands Claim fund tens of millions of dollars!
Fact: The Self-Sufficient Fund has been mismanaged and used on some very risky ventures!
Fact: The Chairmen and some of the Board of Directors are the reason the Lands Claim money is disappearing!
When it came time to distribute the Lands Claim money, then Chairman Bernard Bouschor and some of the Board of Directors wanted full control over the Lands Claim money, like they have on EVERYTHING else ! ! !
Director Bouschor makes a lot of claims in his below Unit report that falls far from the truth.
The below documents clearly shows how the Sault Tribal Board wanted to utilize and control every aspect of the millions of dollars that was coming their way.
The 16 Page PDF document of the Michigan Indian Lands Claim Settlement Act can be viewed or downloaded from the below link.
You will be able to see the documents guidelines and how other Tribes chose to utilize their share of the Lands Claim money, compared to how the Sault Tribal Board did.

You can stop the BLEEDING of the Self-Sufficient Fund with your vote! Don't let future generations suffer because we failed to act now.
Dictator Bouschor is acting like the Sault Tribe still owns his disaster, the Greektown Casino.
Is this guy delusional? Or just so far out of touch with the members, that he don't even see what an ass he is making of himself.
Director Malloy has the right idea! The members that don't live in 1 of the 5 Units, should register to vote in the Unit of their choice.
Take Director Malloy's advice and fill out the voter registration forum. She provided it with her last Unit report.
Then help make a change in the best interest of the Sault Tribe and dump everyone up for reelection!

Bouschor thinks the Members just fell off a turnip truck. The damage caused by Bouschor is deeply embedded in Members heads. He should be in Federal Prison.

Deb Pine clearly states in her Unit report she will not support the will of the people. She believes that splitting the Chairman/CEO is waste of time and the Management says so. Of course the CROOK Managers are happy being in control and answering the few select Chairmen. All the Board acts as Chairmen.

In this case and the way the above article was written, I would think that "Chairmen" would mean more than one.
We have yet to seat a "Chairman" that is truly looking out for the best interest of all the membership, instead of just a select few families and their friends.
They are just a bunch of thieving "Chairmen" that can't see any father then their office door and money.
Come election time! Those Tribal Board members that are up for election should "ALL" be voted out of office.

What are the elders going to do with all that money? They could end up spending all of it foolishly and then they won't be happy. Perhaps the elders should give their share to the board elected chairmen and their puppet master, Bernerd. Then everybody will be happy!
