The Blame Game
History tells us that no elected official in the Sault Tribe will take responsibility for their failures. Their MO is "when all else fails place the blame elsewhere". BERNARD BOUSCHOR! Had we not paid out the Greeks at a quarter billion plus, we would never be in the position of a forced sale of Greektown. Bouschor and Bouschor alone brokered that deal. All the rest was residual foolishness by Aaron Payment the Chairman to follow Bouschor.Now we have a Chairman with some integrity who is left to clean-up a mess that there is nothing left to. This Chairman should immediately call for Federal intervention and hold all the people aforementioned accountable for crimes against the Members of the Sault Tribe. Bouschor should immediately be suspended from the Board pending an in depth investigation."
Past elections have yielded personal attacks on not only the candidates, but their families as well. The legacy of finger pointing continues today through the Tribal paper and several blog sites.
Bernard Bouschor the king of sling, just this month used the Tribal paper to do just that. Bouschor places all the blame on Aaron Payment for the financial condition the Tribes in today. The narcissist himself cannot admit any wrong doings on his part. Bouschor uses his entire report to bash Payment. What Bouschor fails to mention is the sweetheart deal he worked out with the Greeks that netted them a quarter billion dollars of the Tribes money. No rhyme or reason. To this day Bouschor is yet to explain the deal that broke the Tribes back. Bouschor's long history with the Greeks is well documented.

Now with Aaron Payments supposed termination from MSU he is working full-time on his website cutting down every move the Board makes. It is obvious that Payments agenda is to only serve himself. He burned all his bridges and he thinks the Tribe needs him back. Payment had his chance, and only proved he was no better than Bouschor. Joe McCoy is proving the same.
The present and past Chairmen all proclaimed to be visionaries. They all fed the Members with their propaganda in an effort to be persuasive for votes. They certainly persuaded the people of the Sault Tribe. Once elected they all proved to have a vision only for themselves, their families, and their friends. They were all blinded by power and greed.
The Need For Fairness
In Director Hoffman's Unit Report he makes some strong statements for change. Having served under the Payment Administration and now the McCoy Administration, Director Hoffman has firsthand experience on why change is needed.
FOIA
The past and present Administrations have adopted Information Control in all their activities. The last thing they want, is to be held accountable. Suppressing information is their preferred mode. The Board needs to do the right thing and support this effort to free-up information for the stockholders.
EDC
Big businessman Joe McCoy has talked about diversification, but fails to bring anything to the table. The Tribe has missed some wonderful opportunities in lieu of political patronage.We cannot afford to let these opportunities bypass us any longer. This Governing body needs to get creative or step down.
Separate The Chairman/CEO
The biggest problem in the Sault Tribe. Abuse, Abuse, Abuse! Combining these positions is hypocrisy. Slimy Bouschor used this to put the Tribe under. Payment used it to promote his self-perception. McCoy, well he seems not to know what to do with it. No one individual should never have this kind of power. The Board needs to get off their behinds and stop this forever. Separating these autocratic positions will put the Tribe on a road to recovery.
Communication
From bad to worse, this is not in the Boards vocabulary.
Time To Move On
It is time for the Tribe to move on. We must learn from our past mistakes and keep riff raff like Bouschor and Payment out of Tribal affairs. The two biggest liars and thieves in Tribal history.
